DOES "DBS: SUPER HERO" FOLLOW THE ANIME OR MANGA? 🤔

• Has the pilus like Ultimate Gohan in the DBS anime . Wore a gi similar to Goku'due south.

Huh… looks like a combination of both anime & manga. Just like how the DBS: Broly movie was meant to be an intersecting point for both interpretations.

But if someone was to actually try to debate nigh which Gohan this is…

Me: Practiced bespeak, but it isn't enough. Manga Gohan does not take an ultimate form with the pilus blindside down. Toyotaro wrote it differently insuch a way that the "ultimate course" isn't triggered like a transformation. And that actually goes against what the OG manga states.

Me: I tin can agree with this. Anime Gohan'southward ultimate form has the blindside down, but since he's been training nether Piccolo, why not clothing the gi of his current master out of respect? Just every bit Goku, Krillin, & Yamcha however clothing Roshi's Turtle School gi to bear witness respect & pride.

So if you wanna argue that this is manga Gohan , it would be a weak arguement but however decent. If yous wanna fence that this is anime Gohan , that's a solid arguement. Saying this moving picture is an intersecting signal for both anime & manga is the most accurate decision.

Although, there are some distinctive differences between anime & manga…

GOKU'Southward GI

• The DBS: Broly & DBS: Super-Hero movies both take Goku wearing an obi/sash with the tassels like Goku wore in the Saiyan saga.

• The DBS manga has a different outfit for Goku when he fights Broly and after. Goku only wears the sash without the tassels. Then the manga doesn't even follow how the movies are.

BROLY'S SSJ Power & DEFEAT

Non to mention that co-ordinate to the DBS manga, Broly only goes Super Saiyan against SSB Gogeta.

Broly doesn't ever go Super Saiyan Total Power/Legendary Super Saiyan similar the animated movie.

• In the manga version, SSB Gogeta faced a regular SSJ Broly (without pupils). Even the defeat of Broly is dissimilar. Gogeta appears to take used Instant Transmission & preparing a unmarried-paw blast. (Or the two fingers are a nod to Goku using the Genki Dama against Buu.)
• (Also Freeza reverts to his 1st form in the manga. He doesn't do that at the end of the anime nor animated movie.)

• The animated DBS: Broly film has a green haired Full Ability SSJ Broly (later, he has pupils because he came dorsum to his sense at the end). And SSB Gogeta is about to finish Broly off with a Kamehameha.

Thus, it could fifty-fifty be more accurate to say that the movies are closer associated to the events of the DBS anime interpretation.

Just, proverb that the movies are an intersecting bespeak isn't incorrect either.

Meanwhile, the manga seems to accept its own unseen version of the films. Just as the anime currently has an unseen versions of the Moro & Granolah arcs (or may non take them at all).
